Evedo partners up with TechSoup to support NGOs all over the world!

We are happy to announce the beginning of our partnership with TechSoup! We believe this is a partnership that will evolve into a long-lasting relationship in which we will positively contribute to the NGO sector through our services and products.

What’s TechSoup and what do they do?

TechSoup is an American civic organization that has built a global network, TechSoup Global, consisting of 65 partners all around the world. Thanks to these partners, they provide technological donations to non-governmental organizations in more than 180 countries. World tech leaders like Adobe, Asana, Microsoft, Zoom, Autodesk, Bitdefender, Teamviewer, Box and dozens more are all united under one local donation platform which aims to support civic organizations with the necessary technological resources and tools for them to work more efficiently towards their goals and to also be able to provide better services to those in need.

The companies have different approaches towards giving access to their products — some are giving full access for free, while others are offering big discounts.

What about TechSoup Bulgaria?

TechSoup Bulgaria was launched in 2009 as a result of a partnership between the San Francisco-based TechSoup and the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WFIF).

TechSoup Bulgaria is the only platform in the country for technological donations for NGOs, community centers, and public libraries. The platform is completely focused on the needs of NGOs to have access to technical support in order to continue doing a great job at their work which is vital for society.

Who are we at Evedo?

Evedo is a leading platform for event organizing and ticket selling, offering a complete solution. From conferences to music festivals, diverse companies, and NGOs from all over the world choose Evedo to organize their events, both offline and online, from start to finish.

The Global Conference from Womentech Network, a platform encouraging diversity in technology, leadership, and entrepreneurship, is an event that’s currently using Evedo with the intention to reach a bigger audience in their promotional efforts and ticket distribution. Womentech is planning to host the biggest online conference for females in the tech industry.

An event taking place in Bulgaria, on the other hand, is SHEleader@digital 2020 — an annual international conference that offers a platform for focussed discussion on the role of women in the digital world. The event strives to propose specific solutions to welcoming more girls and women into the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Evedo is the exclusive partner for selling tickets for the conference.

So what will members of TechSoup Bulgaria receive?

Moreover, NGOs are given the opportunity to raise some money with their events by including a donation-based ticket. The way this ticket works is that the event is open to the public for free, but attendees have the possibility to donate any amount of their choice.

Here at Evedo we genuinely think that by helping the NGO sector on a global scale with the optimization of their events, we can make the world a better place together. Non-profit and non-governmental organizations are a key factor in building a more connected, more sustainable, and more fair world of tomorrow, and so they undoubtedly deserve our support. For us, it’s an honor to join TechSoup’s global network of partners next to big names like Microsoft, Adobe, and Slack.
